2.  China International Organ Transplant Hospital, China

The Organ transplant section was founded by china hospital‘s top hospital in 1992,and has now succeeded in performing multiple kidney transplant, liver transplant and other organ transplant operations. We are the only organization in China who can provide kidney transplant , liver transplant and pancreas transplant , and are now highly experienced in the areas organ procurement, organ selecting, transplant operations ,operation management, post--operation support and many other aspects of the procedure. We have formed a multi-organs transplant management system including internal medicine, a surgical department and transplant LAB. Our patients come from all over the country, and in addition, we have succeeded in doing kidney transplants for 3 Japanese patients, 7 patients from Korea and Kidney-Pancreas Transplants for American patients. We have now been doing 60 different transplant operations every year since 1998. Most patients leave the hospital about 20 to 30 days after operation to continue the recovery to a healthy and active life at home.3 patients have also gone on to become pregnant.

The main difference between a Chinese patient and a patient form another country, in our transplant center is that the Chinese patient will not have received blood dialysis for a long time and as a result most of them suffer no complications. According to Professor viewpoint ,there are many patients who have undergone 20 or 30 years of blood dialysis, however, with the increased length of time on dialysis, the chance of complications of heart, blood vessel, bone and kidney become more and more and with serious atherosclerosis , some patients can not undergo the transplant operation. Therefore blood dialysis may not be the best therapy .

The mission of our support center is to liberate the patient from dialysis, and do our best to enable them to go back to an ordinary life .

Facts about China Organ Transplantation Centre:
There are more than 35,000 kidney transplant operations that have been done in public hospitals in 29 cities, provinces and municipalities in China, and the number of kidney transplant operations is at least 5,000 every year all over the country. So many transplantation operations are owing to the support of the Chinese government. The Supreme Demotic Court, Supreme Demotic Law-officer, Police, Judiciary, Department of Health and Civil Administration have enacted a law together to make sure that organ donations are supported by the government, This is unique in the world. Medical equipment and the nursing system in China are not perfect compared with developed countries, but in the area of organ transplantation, the mode of the operation is the same all over the world, and the level of medical technology in China is the same as that of a developed country. Now, there are about 1000 patients with organ decline who accept organ transplantation in China every year. Although brain death is allowed by law in Japan, the problem of lacking organ donors will hopeful be solved in the future. It is more expensive to receive an organ transplant abroad. But why is the charge so high? While, most donors are free, and there is no exchange of money, the large part of the high expense can be attributed to the depreciation of Medical equipment, the cost of medicine and doctor's fees.

The process of selection of volunteers:
If you send your personal medical records data to us by courier post and accept the necessary body examination in Shenyang , China in order to assure a suitable donor, it may take only one month to receive a liver transplantation , the maximum waiting time being two months. As for the kidney transplantation , it may take one week to find a suitable donor, the maximum time being one month. Although the procedure to select a donor is very strict,, the transplant operation will be terminated if the doctor discovers that there is something wrong with the donor's organ . If this happens, the patient will have the option to be offered another organ donor and have the operation again in one week.
